About the Role
Join a dynamic law firm representing sophisticated clients in complex business disputes. Our Commercial Litigation practice represents clients in litigation and arbitration matters nationwide, from routine disputes and actions to complex litigation. This role is ideal for an attorney with deep litigation experience who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, enjoys taking ownership of cases, and is comfortable serving as lead counsel or supporting counsel as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage complex commercial litigation matters in both State and Federal Courts
- Handle breach of contract disputes, shareholder and partnership disputes, and general business litigation
- Conduct and defend depositions
- Represent clients in arbitration matters; FINRA experience is a plus
- Collaborate with partners and litigation teams on strategy, case development, and client communication
Qualifications
- 10–20 years of commercial litigation experience
- Admitted in both New York and New Jersey
- Proven track record managing sophisticated commercial disputes
- Strong deposition experience
- Ability to independently lead matters or serve as second chair seamlessly
- Securities arbitration / FINRA experience a plus
- Business originations not required
Compensation
Salary Range: $235,000 – $300,000 (commensurate with experience)
