SRFC is a nationally recognized law firm of over 65 attorneys with corporate, securities, litigation, trusts and estates and tax practices, serving clients from all over the world. Our mission is to solve our clients’ most complicated legal problems and achieve their business goals in an expeditious, commercial and innovative manner.

The founding vision of Sichenzia Ross Ference Carmel LLP in 1998 was to create a new boutique securities law firm that departed from the standard "mega-firm" approaches and, instead, focused on delivering efficient, personalized services of the highest quality to businesses of all sizes and individuals. 

Our founding partners – Gregory Sichenzia, Marc Ross and Michael Ference – were soon joined by like-minded colleagues also seeking an alternative to the large law firm environment. Darrin Ocasio joined in 1999 as a law clerk and was promoted to the partnership in 2005. Tom Rose, a former staff attorney at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, joined us in 2000. Benjamin Tan joined us in 2008. Jay Kaplowitz and Arthur Marcus, shareholders of the leading boutique firm Gersten Savage LLP, joined us in 2012. 

In 2023, through a merger with the premier securities law firm, Carmel, Milazzo & Feil LLP, led by named partner Ross Carmel, we strengthened our position as a market leader in the securities industry.

Since our founding in 1998, we have grown from a firm of three young attorneys to a firm of over 65 attorneys serving clients across the globe. We have a preeminent corporate and securities department that has been highly ranked in various national securities league table rankings. We have a renowned litigation and arbitration department which is adept at handling complex securities litigation, arbitration and regulatory defense matters, as well as various other types of litigation. We also have a trusts and estates group which handles a broad range of estate planning matters for a diverse clientele, including high-net worth individuals and families, among others.
