Scot J. Foley is a counsel in the Corporate and Securities Department. 

Experience

Scot has more than two decades of global legal experience, including eight years as an Attorney-Advisor with the Division of Corporation Finance of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (“SEC”). He advises clients across various industries on complex securities and corporate matters, including SEC compliance, capital raises, M&A and corporate governance.

At the SEC, Scot led legal reviews of securities filings, focusing on IPOs, mergers, and periodic disclosures.

He regularly works with executives, directors and investors to support strategic growth and navigate shareholder and governance issues. Scot is also a published author on federal securities law issues and holds a certification in securities and financial regulation from Georgetown University Law Center and SEC University.
