Devin Heck is a partner in the Corporate and Securities Department.

Experience

Ms. Heck specializes in forming and structuring a variety of private funds, including venture capital funds, hedge funds, credit funds and private equity funds, as well as advising investment advisers registered under the Investment Advisers Act of 1940 and exempt reporting advisers on evaluating and structuring their investments, complex financing transactions, regulatory compliance and filings and exams with the Securities and Exchange Commission. Ms. Heck provides innovative solutions and guidance to investment advisers in an evolving landscape.

Ms. Heck also advises private companies on stock acquisitions, secured and unsecured private equity transactions and debt transactions. In addition, she has experience with forming commodity pools and structuring their private offerings as well as advising commodity pool operators registered with the National Futures Association through the regulatory requirements. Ms. Heck also leads the Firm’s merchant cash advance practice group. She represents funders and independent sales organizations and assists them with all aspects of the alternative commercial financing cycle, including capital raising, asset deployment and regulatory compliance.
