Catherine Wu is an associate in the Corporate and Securities Department. She advises clients on securities transactions and SEC compliance matters.

Experience

Catherine represents both issuers and financial institutions in a broad range of corporate finance transactions, including U.S. initial public offerings and other transactions. She also counsels public companies on SEC reporting obligations, compliance matters and corporate governance issues.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Wu was an associate at a boutique securities law firm in New York, where she advised clients on public offerings and SEC compliance matters. Earlier in her career, she practiced at a national law firm in China, advising Chinese companies on mergers and acquisitions, asset-backed securitizations, private fund registrations and other matters involving corporate law and securities regulation.

Catherine is a member of the New York State Bar Association.
