Devin Heck joined the Firm’s Corporate and Securities practice group in 2019.

Experience

Ms. Heck began her legal career at a boutique law firm in New York City, where she specialized in corporate formations and restructurings and forming hedge funds and venture capital funds and structuring their private offerings.  She began representing several registered investment advisers and advising them on evaluating and structuring their investments, complex financing transactions, regulatory compliance and filings and exams with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Ms. Heck began her legal career at a boutique law firm in New York City, where she specialized in corporate formations and restructurings and forming hedge funds and venture capital funds and structuring their private offerings.  She began representing several registered investment advisers and advising them on evaluating and structuring their investments, complex financing transactions, regulatory compliance and filings and exams with the Securities and Exchange Commission.  After joining the Firm, Ms. Heck continued to expand her practice by advising private companies on stock acquisitions, secured and unsecured private equity transactions and debt transactions.  In addition, she has experience with forming commodity pools and structuring their private offerings as well as advising commodity pool operators registered with the National Futures Association through the regulatory requirements.  Ms. Heck also leads the Firm’s merchant cash advance practice group.  She represents funders and independent sales organizations (ISOs) and assists them with all aspects of the alternative commercial financing cycle, including capital raising, asset deployment and regulatory compliance.

In 2022, Ms. Heck was recognized by Super Lawyers and selected to Rising Stars as one of the top-rated attorneys in the nation.
